I just wrote this review to an author i like. The story information is below if you would like to read it. It is a fanfiction of harry potter, and it is an hp/hg pairing. hi;
i regret to inform you that i have been partaking in the wonderful reading of your story. Now before you get mad/hurt i have to re word that. I regret to have red your story and not reviewed before now. This is one of by far one of the best stories i’ve red in a long while. I believe that i have red some of your story in the past, however, for some reason didn’t complete reading it. I however, decided that being i don’t really have anything else to do, and nothing else is catching my attention, i would re read your story. This as i previously stated is a wonderful story, and i love the interaction between all of the characters. I also love the canon outline your following yet changing a few things to make complete changes from canon. When a reader is thinking he or she is going to know what will happen you go and change something else. Keeps me on the edge of my seat and i like it.
I am a fan of dumbledore stories where he is not the head character nor the head of the school. It is not that i don’t like him, on the contrary, i think he is a creative character however, there are far to mini fanfiction written with him as the headmaster and it is better to read a story that doesn’t make him the headmaster. This is a good concept and I’m glad that your writing it.
I have always really been a harry/ginny reader, however this outlook on hp/hg is very good. I have red a few of these in the past, and liked them, but i like how well you make them fit together. I will be sure to post both this review and your story name/summery with a link to your author on my blog, gwfans dot net.

i figured i would write this to you all and post a message i just received. I did not know this, and have not had the guts to try it, however, figured someone might take this into consideration and know that it might just happen.

Microwaving Water!

A 26-year old man decided to have a cup of coffee. He took
> a cup of water and put it in the microwave to heat it up (something that he had done numerous times before). I am not sure how long he set the timer for, but he wanted to

happens is that the water heats faster than the vapor

Bubbles can form. If the cup is very new then it is unlikely to have
small surface scratches inside it that provide a place for the bubbles

> boil, and the liquid continues to heat up well past its boiling point. What then usually happens is that the liquid is bumped or

After careful consideration I was able to locate a sergeant from the Juneau police department to interview and am glad that he was able to answer a few questions I gave him. It was a very insightful interview and gave me a few things to consider. At times I have considered becoming a dispatcher, however, Sergeant Hatch, the nice gentleman that I did interview, gave me a few things to consider in my pursuit of becoming a dispatcher. Our conversation went very well, and I did in fact learn quite a bit from him.

Sergeant Hatch has worked out of the Juneau police department for the past 17.5 years. I stated to him that, “That’s a long time”, and he responded to me, “Yes, it is.” It however sounded like Sergeant Hatch was comfortable with his job, and might have been asked the questions I asked him before. He was very quick with his responses and very courteous.

When I asked sergeant Hatch what his primary responsibility was in the Juneau police department he said that he was a patrol supervisor. This consists of having to supervise all of the patrol officers out in the field, and if something was to come up the field officers would go to him with problems. He also said that he had to be someone who was easy to go to because he wanted all of his field officers to feel comfortable going to him with there issues and problems. This didn’t appear to be a problem being I was a total stranger and I felt like I could go to him and talk to him about just about anything.

I asked Sergeant Hatch what his typical day was like. He then responded with a laugh and said it varied. He then told me that 50 to 60% of his day was paperwork. This would mean filling out forms, signing documents, and other such responsibilities. He also said that about 20% of his days was spent actually supervising officers in the field. I asked him if this meant that he was in fact out in the field and Sergeant Hatch stated, “at times.” Another 20% of a day was self initiated field time. This I would assume, however, didn’t ask would be when the sergeant would go into the field and spend time patrolling by his self with out any supervisor responsibilities.

When sergeant Hatch was asked what discretion does he use in his typical work day he replied, “I would use policies to respond to situations.” This would mean that if there was something to come up and he did not know how to respond to the issue he would have to look up what policies to follow to deal with that particular situation. Sergeant Hatch however appears to know what he is doing and after 17.5 years I would think that he would be able to deal with just about any situation that came up.

I, being blind, thought that I would then finally ask Sergeant hatch what he thought about me becoming a dispatcher. He said that he didn’t know if it was possible but figured that it could happen. He said his largest concern would be looking at a screen of different tower locations to identify where particular officers were at and dispatch accordingly. I didn’t have anything to say and he did tell me however that, “You could apply and they would tell you from there.” This did make me feel that there might just be a possibility.

Sergeant Hatch was very informative and though we didn’t get to talk very long I did think that what I learned was very helpful. Would I suggest this job to a friend of mine? That would depend. If a friend of mine was able to handle situations that would require them to be able to quickly think on there feet, and was very friendly with people then yes. I however have a few friends that I do not feel could adequately address problems that may come up, so I have to answer this question with the fact that it would depend on the friend. I did however have a wonderful experience interviewing Sergeant Hatch, and hope that if I did end up going into a law enforcement career that I would have a supervisor who was as nice as what Sergeant Hatch appeared.

My review

I didn’t know what to think of this book. For the longest time i did not want to read it, and I’m not sure as if this was because that this would there for end the harry potter saga witch has over taken my life for the past seven years or if i didn’t think i would want to just read it because i wasn’t sure if i would like it. I ordered it in braille, however, didn’t read it there. I then ordered an audio version, er, should say i obtained an audio version of this book and think it’s a wonderful book. I hope to see more works from this author, and hope maybe she will start another book series?

THE SPOILED UNDER-30 CROWD!!!
If you are 30 or older you will think this is hilarious!!!!
When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears
with their tedious diatribes about how hard things were.

a bunch of crap like that on kids about how hard I had it
and how easy they’ve got it!
But now that… I’m over the ripe old age of
thirty, I can’t help but look around and notice the youth of today.

You’ve got it so easy! I mean, compared to my
childhood, you live in a damn Utopia!
And I hate to say it but you kids today you
don’t know how good you’ve got it!

I mean, when I was a kid we didn’t have The Internet. If we wanted to know something, We had to go to the damn library and
look it up ourselves, in the card catalogue!!
There was no email!! We had to actually write
somebody a letter, with a pen!
Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the mailbox and it would take like a week to get there! Stamps were 10 cents!
Child Protective Services didn’t care if our parents beat us. As a matter of fact, the parents of all my friends also had permission to kick our ass! No where was safe!

There were no MP3’s or Napsters! You wanted to
steal music, you had to hitchhike to the damn record store and shoplift it yourself!
Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the DJ’d usually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up!
There were no CD players! We had tape decks in our car. We’d play our favorite tape and “eject” it when finished and the tape would come undone cause that’s how we rolled, dig?

We didn’t have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you
were on the phone and somebody else called they got a busy signal, that’s it!

And we didn’t have fancy Caller ID either!
When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It could be your school,
your mom, your boss, your Bookie, your drug dealer, a collections agent, you
just didn’t know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances, mister!

We didn’t have any fancy Sony Playstation video
games with high-resolution 3-D graphics! Wehad the Atari 2600! With games
like ‘Space Invaders’ and ‘asteroids’. Your guy was a little square! You
actually had to use your imagination!! And there were no multiple levels or
screens, it was just one screen forever!

And you could never win. The game just kept getting
harder and harder and
faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE!

You had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was
on! You were screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get off
your ass and walk over to the TV to change the channel! There was no
Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons
on Saturday Morning. Do you hear what I’m saying!?! We had to wait ALL WEEK
for cartoons, you spoiled
little rat-bastards!

And we didn’t have microwaves, if we wanted to heat
something up we had to use the stove … Imagine that!
That’s exactly what I’m talking about! You kids
today have got it too easy.
You’re spoiled. You guys wouldn’t have lasted
five minutes back in 1980 or before!

some may ask me why pray tell I’m writing this blog being I’m blind? Well i red an email that honestly pist me off. I don’t know why but the fact that it appears as i stated that a majority of blind people are close minded. I am rather sure that this blog is going to piss someone off, but you know what? Lets keep this discussion on the blog.
I will put in here the emails that I’m talking about. I am sure this won’t be a problem being that these said emails are on a public list, blind cool tech to be exact. I am sure with the language i used I’m going to get kicked off the list or something but at this point in time, i just don’t give a dam.

Here’s the message that pist me off:
about 3 years ago my wife and I bought a matched pair of front loaders. the
only place we could find a pair with some knobs and different shaped buttons
were at Sears. there is a bigger knob for selecting different wash cycles
like normal, permanent press and so on. a smaller knob allows you to adjust
the water temperature. there are buttons that can be used to set how the
machine spins out the water and such. not everything is accessible. the
dryer basically is set up in the same fashion.
you are going to have to find a sales person who knows how to deal with
blind people and who knows the machines inside out. you are going to have to
take someone with you who knows what you are capable of doing with the
machines and has the ability to describe things in detail. when it comes to
appliances for the home, it is getting tougher to buy machines we blind
people can use. we are being discriminated against, but that is nothing new

and here’s the message that i’m sure is going to pis a lot of blind people off. Again, i’m sorry but this is my feelings:

I do not agree with this, I’m sorry. We are not in fact being discriminated against,. However, a majority of blind people are just close minded. If your referring to touch pads on a washer, why not ask someone sighted to put a peace of clear tape on it or something/ You must understand, and i don’t know how bloody clear i can make this but the world moves around, and us blind people like sighted people must move with it. The world is not going to stop just because we wine and bitch about something that doesn’t go our way.
To keep this on topic with this thread, i think someone can buy any front loading washer and make it accessible. It is a matter of requesting help from those who are sighted around you. DOn’t be afraid to ask for help. It does not make you weak, but makes sighted people not afraid to ask if we need help.
I’m done, and sorry that I’m likely pissing you all off.
