here’s a joke sabrina got told during her training yesterday, enjoy!
little billy was let out of school early. He walked into the house and herd this noise coming from his parents room. He said, “Mom, mom, are you all right”? She didn’t respond so he walked into the room and saw his dad with whip cream in his hand, and his mom covered in it on the bed. Billy just turned around and walked out.
The next day, Billy’s dad came home from work early. He herd a lot of odd noising coming from his sun’s room, so he walked in and saw to his horror, little billy standing there with a thing of whip cream in his hand and his mom covered in whip cream. Little billy turns to his dad and says, “Sucks when it’s your mom doesn’t it”?

so far, my trip to anchorage has not been that good. We started out flying from ketchikan to seattle, then had a layover in seattle for three hours. I do not like waiting and so was very restless, and board as hell. Well and i had Sheffield witch wasn’t a problem because he did well.
We then were on a 400 Passenger jet from seattle to anchorage, and that was the worse flight i’ve been on so far. I believe they said “we are completely booked” and they had to of been. Me and sabrina and sheffield were sitting next to a very nice gentleman, and we were fine tell we got in the air. That plain was so hot, and i am sure they like over booked or something, because it appeared there was no breathing room. Sheffield however did rather well.
Then we got here and had to wait for a bit. That felt nice being we had been cramped into a plain for so long, and finally, we got to the hotel. They at first gave us a key to someone else’s room and so we had to go down stairs and get a new key to our room. It’s a good thing there wasn’t anyone else in the room when we walked in but sabrina saw clothes and stuff and was like, er, this isn’t our room.
Then this morning sabrina left. Sheffield has not relieved his self today, and so that’s stressing me out. I then had lunch, after the delivery person couldn’t find our hotel, he went to the wrong hotel.
I then decided i would go to the store and buy some soda. Like a surprise for sabrina, give us something to drink when she got back and we worked on homework. I got to the store and had forgotten my ID, well, i then noticed there i forgot my room key card. So i bought what i needed put my wallet back in my pocket and walked out to the cab. Very nice cab driver he was.
I then got back to the hotel, and by this time i spent the cash sabrina gave me to spend, so i payed the cab with debit. He gave me my card, the reseat, and i got out. I am hoping i didn’t but it appears i left my wallet on the seat of his car, anyways i didn’t notice this tell after i finally got back in my room.
I went up stares and found a maid. She let me in the room, and i went to my pants i was wearing yesterday and found my id. I took it out, put it on the table and grabbed my coat, attempting to locate my wallet. I noticed then that it wasn’t in my coat. Now, i then panicked, and called the desk to have them transfer me to the taxi. They then said that they would attempt to contact the cab driver and get my wallet back. I however have not herd from them and it’s been about 2 hours now.
I then went outside to get sheffie to relieve his self, and to no avail. I called SISD to see if they had highered someone for the job i applied for and they said no decision will be made until sometime next week.
So so far, not a very good trip. Will it get batter? I sures the hell hope so. I hope sabrina will walk in and say something like, “mike what’s your wallet doing on the floor” or something of that since. i dought it, yes, but miracles can happen can’t they?
i’ll update you all on what’s going on when i have more information.

so some of you guys on twitter have herd that I’m going to go on a trip. Well after plenty of hassle and stuff, i finally got my travel plan. And it turned out to be rather well done.
As some of you know, sabrina went to anchorage in january for training. Well, i get to go with her in april, being leaving sunday, and returning on my 21st birthday on friday. This is my travel plans, and i don’t really know what i’ll be doing there, but i’ll blog and update you all:D

Hi,

My name is Michael Babcock and I am a University of Alaska – Distance Education student currently living in Coffman Cove. I am writing this letter in response to the SISD Information Systems Technology Director job posted on the webpage for the 2009-10 school year. I feel that my background makes me a good candidate for working with both students and staff on technical support. I have in the past, worked for a computer reseller and support store, a comic book retail store, managed my web-hosting company with customers, and volunteered in two different school districts interacting with students, staff, and parents.

I have applied for this position because I like to interact with
people, and being that my major at this time is computer science and psychology, I feel that this would be a wonderful opportunity for me to work in a computer field. I have been using computers since first
grade, and have plenty of experience with all forms of windows, the
Macintosh system, and a few different distributions of Linux.

I am minoring in communication at this time, and feel I have very good interpersonal skills. I do not have a problem with initiating calls, and would do my best at assisting members of the Southeast Island School District with computer issues.

Being that this position would have me interacting with staff and students I feel that the volunteer time that i’ve done in the past in schools is an added benefit. As you can see on my resume, I have had a great amount of experience working within schools.

In conclusion, I feel that this job would be wonderful for me. I also feel that I could bring some different views to technology
for both the students and staff of Southeast Island School district.

Please, consider me for the position of Information Systems Technology Director. In the case that you decide I am not the best candidate for this position I would be interested in an assistant position if it becomes available.
