hey bloggers;
This is going to be another one of those slightly longer blogs that i randomly do. I know i haven’t posted any more since i left on my sitka trip, but what can i say, i’ve been hard working, sick, and well now just now really catching up on everything, life included.
Well, after i got back from sitka, and yes the flight and ferry back went well, me and sabrina moved to her parent’s other house. We have been living here since then. However, the house we were looking at, we found out was built to alaskan housing standards, so maybe we can apply for the loan after all, but I’m going to be honest and it doesn’t look like we will get it. I just don’t have to much hope for it.
ANyways after i got back, we took the kids at the school here, in total 13 kids, swimming in craig. So that was a 1.5 hour drive there and 1.5 hour drive back from craig with no less then five kids at a time. I’m not complaining, but i think sabrina should get extra hours when i help with her americorps work, and trust me, that was americorps. So that went well.
Then sunday i got sick. I’m not sure what happened but my throughout was feeling sore all day and then sunday night it just got very very bad. I am not sure why as i said, but think it’s just a simple cold. THis morning though, i woke up and couldn’t really breath threw my nose. It hurts, has been runny, and the doctor in craig just gave me some anti biotic to help it. So i guess we will see. I have to take 2 pills every day to times a day. But hey i got my TB test put in, physical done, and my headache meds re started. So I’m all ready for my anchorage trip in august.
WHen i get the travel information from sarah on that i’ll post it on my blog. Oh and another thing, i haven’t talked to my grate grandma or my grandma on my mom’s side of the family, but have emailed them and am now talking to them.
Final thing, i got my birth certificate today in the mail. This miens that I’m able to get an alaskan ID finally, so i can get an in state fishing license. So i hope to get a few more fish this year. I guess it would be a few fish in the first place, i know I’m living in alaska but haven’t gotten any fish:)
Well we got chris, sabrina’s nephew over here, so i think i should go to bed so i can get up in the morning with him and walk him to bible school. We know sabrina won’t be awake, smile.

So this is a writing to inform you all as to what has been going on here. Well, as you all should know i flew to sitka on monday and Sabrinai don’t think was happy. One thing though that she does do that i haven’t had a girl do in the past, is that she understands that it is going to open more doors for me. Anyways, I’m in sitka alaska, doing what i think was described as “career evaluations”, and “personal assessments”. ;I impressed them and they say i should be a rather easy case for them. Them is the vocational rehab department for southeast alaska.
Anyways so i’ve been doing that all week, and it’s not to to bad. I like the to people who are doing all the questions for me and they seem very nice. So yea, that’s about all that’s been going on. I have a headache, so if my writing ability is very low it’s because of that. I’ve had it since i left monday morning.
I will also be going to anchorage august 3rd threw the 14th. I will be doing some basic independent living skills, and also i get to attend the Midnight Sun Assistive Technology Conference and that should be rather fun. If your going to the MSATC, let me know, we might get to hang out. I’ll update you all as it comes closer.
Lets see what else. Oh yea and my macbook didn’t work at all for the first 2 days here. That sucked, and now I’m just writing this blog because it’s working for the time being. I don’t however, know how long this will last. Here’s tell at least tell i get back. There however are plans in the works to get me a new macbook, so lets hope that that goes threw and I’m not just getting my hopes up for nothing, oh, how that would be truly sad.
I also am attempting to get the iphone also. This would be nice as a PDA because as of the release of the iphone 3gs, being released this friday, it has voiceover on it. So that should be nice, and i hope that it’s a rather well interface to the iphone. To be honest though, it can’t be no worse then what it is now, “nothing!”.
Oh i almost forgot. Well, not really but i thought that sabrina was waiting for me to state to you all what happened. On monday morning, about 01:00AM, i asked sabrina to merry me. It wasn’t rather romantic, sheffie was throwing up, and we were not having nice things to say to sabrina’s mom for giving sheffield a ham bone, but still, i gave her the ring. I don’t know when i would have, it’s just the fact she kept asking what my gift is. If you want to see the ring, you can so Herenot a bad ring if you ask me. I’m not quite sure what her nephews think, devon didn’t really talk to me about it today when i called.
Anyways, i think this is all i have to say. Before you all ask, no we don’t have a date yet. I think were throwing around 4 dates, 12-07-09, 12-08-09 12-07-10 or 12-08-10. Those are the 4 dates were throwing around, and when i know what date we are going to choose, i’ll be sure to update this blog. This is an exciting event, and i hope that it all works out well.

So here’s what’s going on. I am traveling to Sitka next week, well this week whatever you want to call it. I leave the 15th and come back the 19th. I will be there for that week doing some testing and stuff to get me the ability to get some assistance with job placement in the state of alaska. So they are paying for my ferry trip, flight, hotel, and food so I’m not complaining. THis will however be the first time i have traveled 100% alone on a plain, so i hope all goes well. I will be with sheffield though so i guess i have to trust him a lot.
I will blog, or should blog when i get to the hotel monday night. Right now how it goes is i will go over with sabrina’s dad to ketchikan, find something to do for a few hours then go to the airport. This should be rather ok and i hope to be able to find my way to the hotel on monday night, shouldn’t be a problem, so i guess i’ll just update when i get there and let you all know how it’s going.
So here’s to safe travel, and well a fun week.

Oh and something you should know, this was not the direction i was originally attempting to go with this little poem, i was going to make it go in a different direction, however, it came out like this. Is this how i feel about sabrina? No, it’s just something i came up with whilst sitting here thinking. I promise you all that i love sabrina, and this is not how i feel about her. I figured i should write that there before someone goes and runs to tell there friends and family that i don’t really want to be with sabrina, because, that, is, not, true.
