bloggers;
I wrote this on the below date, and found it on an old backup disk. Tell me your thoughts. I don’t know if my writing abilities have increased, or decreased, however, i do find it quite fun to read old work. The spelling was horrific on this paper, however, i spell checked it and have posted it here. Thoughts?

Lying, a topic that has been discussed in all cultures, for as long as time has been around. To lie, you must either not tell the complete truth, or you must tell the entire other side of something. This could be from telling someone you did not take something when you did, to telling someone the donut was half chocolate, when it was in fact only a third chocolate.
If one decides to not tell the truth at all, and bluntly lie, this is frowned upon. Yes, it is wrong, however, some times it is necessary. For example, when the writer’s mom asked him if he had taken a cookie from the cookie jar, and he told her no, he had not taken a cookie, and she believed him, this mate it possible for the writer to avoid a nice yelling at. No, lying is not the best thing to do, however, as previously stated, if necessary, one must do it.
If, in a discussion with a girl, and she asks you if she is fat, or “Do these pants make my but look big?”, and you feel it is necessary to make her feel good, do so. However, remember, if you do, and someone tells her they do make her but look big, she might not be able to trust you. This is true even if you were trying to make her feel better, and you know she will be happy for a short time. Think about this, is it truly worth the pain of her being mad at you for lying to her?
Lying is an interesting topic, and there is a lot of different things people think about while discussing lying. In this short paper, we have given you to different ways to look at lying, as well as given for different examples. From the girl and her pants, to the person who asked you how much chocolate was on a donut, to telling someone something is blue when it is red, and telling your mom you did not take the cookie. So, the question still stands, “is lying something that can be done?” And for now, we must answer this with a, “it depends on the time and place.”
